(Paris) French and Foreign Collectives Hip Hop Festival For 3 days on August 11-12-13, 2023 in Paris

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop culture, we are organizing in collaboration with several French and foreign collectives a Hip Hop festival which will take place within 3 days on August 11-12-13, 2023 in Paris. ?

Half a century already! ✨

The Hip Hop culture created by Cindy Campbell & Clive Campbell Aka Kool Herc on August 11, 1973 in the Bronx (New York - USA) had a real impact for many of us and helped transform our lives in a positive and creative way. as well as making many connections around the world. ?????

This culture that has crossed borders by becoming universal and global over time to bring together much more than any institution or organization in the space of 50 years. ?

Since February 2023 we have been working with other collectives to ensure that this project sees the light of day.

Even if we don't all have the same vision, we all share the same passion for a culture that is common to us.

The objective of this festival is to celebrate the Hip Hop culture with its values, its elements, its actors and to share it all together as if we were one! ?

The wheel turns, we come up with a name: this dancer decides which dancer he wants to face.

Discussion Panel:

- Our roots: historical re-contextualization of hip hop culture (from 1973 to the 2000s)
- Our present: Assessment of current culture and recent years (how we went from a protest culture to the mainstream)
- what future : Openness and perspective of hip hop culture.

The idea is really that it's a conversation and not a conference on the history of Hip Hop so we will launch it's three points and then we let the participants speak
