In recent years, Re:imagine has become one of London’s most-loved musical experiences, with our incredible Orchestras performing renditions of some of the world’s greatest artists.
From Frank Ocean to Beyonce, Kanye West to Dre Dre, Kendrick Lamar & Rihanna, our Orchestras have reimagined popular music in a way that has never been heard before, to sold out venues across the city.
This August, as hip hop celebrates its 50th birthday, we’re taking things to a whole new level.
A show that has been years in the making, we could not be more excited to showcase the 50-year history of hip hop through the sounds of our largest ever Orchestra and a bespoke, immersive visual experience.
Backed by a full ensemble of strings, brass, vocals, and percussion, this historical journey delves into the revolutionary music that forever changed the world. Journey through five decades of hip hop history, immersing yourself in the backstreet sounds of 1970s & 1980s New York, the fierce East vs West rivalries of the 1990s, the groundbreaking Southern rap of the 2000s, and the global dominance of today's music icons.
London's finest musicians skillfully recreate the sounds, songs, and stories of the artists who have shaped popular music into what it is today. Prepare to be captivated by the sounds of Run DMC, LL Cool J, Nas, Snoop Dogg, The Notorious BIG, Lauryn Hill, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, and many more of the hip hop greats, as they are reimagined in a breathtaking symphonic experience.
